Use water with a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees and special liquid detergents designed for silk products.
Do not use bleaches or conditioners.
You can wash it either manually or in the machine using the Silk or Delicate mode.
Some types of silk fabrics cannot be washed; therefore, dry cleaning is recommended.
HOW to RINSE, SQUEEZE & DRY SILK
Rinse in cold water and with the last change of water add 1 tablespoon of vinegar - it will make the fabric brighter and neutralize alkaline residues.
Avoid twisting and rubbing.
Drying should be away from sunlight and without the use of machine drying. It should not be over-dried,which makes it difficult for further ironing.
Particularly delicate items need to be dried on hangers.
HOW to IRON SILK
Start ironing when the fabric is still slightly damp, as spraying might leave stains. It is better to iron without steam (use a steamer only if it is designed to iron silk fabrics) and with a heating temperature not higher than 60-80 degrees.
